Just whipped this up today! One of the things I love about Homestuck is how it presents long-distance online friendships as just as valuable and meaningful as ones in “real life”, and I tried to capture some of that in the lyrics.
I wrote this with the four beta kids in mind, but you can apply it to any pairing, any friendship or any group of characters you want! And whether you’re into this crazy webcomic or not, I hope some of you can still relate to this a little bit. =)

so i didnt get like
any good pictures of my jake at expo because i was a grumpy pos all day
so i took a few shots today
except my shirt is in the wash
but i figure the transfer tattoo and necklace make up for it?
Ugh. no, sorry. I really don’t like this at all. The suicide imagery feels really wrong and I’m not squeamish about much at all. I saw the after photos of that “zombie” guy and his victim in florida and didn’t bat an eye but every time I scroll down to see this, the image of the gun in this persons mouth really puts me ill at ease. What’s the point of it? How is this anything like Jake English?
The only really consolation I can offer is that the hair looks nice for Jake cosplay and the glasses are appropriate but really, gun in the mouth? I feel like this needed a trigger tag when it was posted.
